This cartoon appeared in the May 31, 2012 issue of The Columbia Paper, perfectly timed to respond to the widely publicized, hotly contested recall vote of Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin. Walker’s victory yesterday, secured by a huge, expensive advertising campaign, proves conclusively that unregulated political money (made possibly by the Supreme Court) talks very, very loudly, and is a chilling preview of what’s ahead in this election year.
