This coming Labor Day weekend, I’m invited to be a speaker at Shirat HaYam, a Jewish congregation on the island of Nantucket. (Yeah, I know; a tough gig.)
For more than 30 years the congregation has had an auspicious speakers program that has included well-known authors, ambassadors, politicians, news reporters and a Supreme Court justice, and I am honored to be added to that group.
I will appear at the synagogue on Friday evening, September 2nd, at 7:30pm, showing cartoons from my books, “Last Laughs: Cartoons About Aging, Retirement…and the Great Beyond” and “The All-Jewish Cartoon Collection,” and talk about cartooning and do a Q&A.
(If you can’t attend, you can go to the Contact page here and invite me to come to you, to speak at an event for your group. :>)
